Kaley Cuoco’s time on *The Big Bang Theory* was filled with laughs, both on and off-screen, but there was one moment where her playful attempt to act on a crush didn't go as planned. During a candid interview, Cuoco revealed that she once used the “oldest trick in the book” to try and get a *Big Bang Theory* co-star—whom she had a secret crush on—into her hotel room. Unfortunately for her, the plan didn't go as smoothly as she hoped.
Cuoco explained that, during a cast trip, she found herself feeling bold and thought she’d give a classic move a try. "I had a huge crush, and I thought, 'This could be a good way to get him in there,'" she said with a laugh. So, what was her plan? The age-old “come help me with something in my room” excuse.
"I invited him to my hotel room under the guise of needing help with something random, hoping he'd take the hint," she shared. But her co-star didn’t catch on to her subtle move. "He came by, helped out, and then just left—totally oblivious!" Cuoco admitted with a smile. “It didn’t work, and I was kind of bummed, but it’s funny now looking back.”
While she didn’t reveal the identity of her crush, fans have long speculated about potential on-set romantic interests, especially given Cuoco’s history of dating her co-star Johnny Galecki. Still, Cuoco was quick to brush off the moment as just another fun memory from her time on the show.
Although her hotel room plot didn’t lead to romance, Cuoco has no regrets. “It’s all part of the fun. Things didn’t turn out as planned, but we all had so much fun together on that show—there’s no bad memories.”
Her playful story just adds another layer to the behind-the-scenes antics of the *Big Bang Theory* cast, who have been open about the close bonds they formed over the years. And while Cuoco's attempt may have failed, her charming sense of humor and adventurous spirit certainly didn’t!
