Kaley Cuoco may be known for her quick wit and charming personality, but even she isn’t immune to the occasional awkward moment—especially when it comes to her crushes. During a fun and revealing interview, the *Big Bang Theory* star shared a hilarious story about how she tried (and failed) to get one of her co-stars, whom she had a crush on, into her hotel room using a not-so-smooth move.
Cuoco admitted she was crushing hard on one of her castmates at the time and decided to use an age-old trick to spend some alone time with him. "I thought I’d try the classic, ‘Oh, can you come help me with something in my room?’ move," she said with a laugh. "I figured, ‘This is how I'll get him in there.’"
However, things didn’t go quite as she planned. After inviting him over, her crush showed up, helped with the “problem” in her hotel room, and left without picking up on her hints. "He was totally clueless!" Cuoco recalled. "I was just standing there like, ‘Well, that didn’t go how I thought.’"
Though Cuoco didn’t spill the name of the co-star she had her eyes on, she handled the situation with humor and grace. “It’s one of those funny memories now, but at the time, I was definitely a little embarrassed. It just didn’t work out!”
Despite the failed attempt, Cuoco looked back on the moment fondly, noting that it was all part of the close-knit camaraderie shared by the *Big Bang Theory* cast. Even if her crush didn’t get the message, Cuoco has never been shy about her love for her castmates, many of whom have remained good friends long after the series ended.
While her not-so-smooth hotel room move may not have led to romance, it certainly makes for an amusing behind-the-scenes story about the lengths we sometimes go to when trying to impress a crush.
